How to reduce the swelling in a zit quickly?

I know this sounds nasty but help. I had this zit on my nose for almost a week. I popped it and peeled it, I learned I shouldn't of done that the hard way. No the skin is rare so it's red and stings a little when I touch it. There is no puss or anything under the skin, it's kinda like a dome of skin(if that makes sense). hi there im a pharmacy technician.... yes tooth paste can help by drying it out and pulling the bacteria up towards the surface of your skin but the best quick fix i have seen work for people is clearasil ultra... its in a white tub with a blue cap and works in 4 hours. People i talk to swear by it and i recommend it to people who come to me for help... ive had girls freaking out cause the get a huge zit right before a dance and they came back to show me it was gone and to thank me. Its not what you wanna hear but to be honest man you just have to give it a couple days. your skin has to heal, and skin doesnt heal over night. putting lotion might make it feel a lil better but its just going to irritate it more.The mosre you mess with it the worse its going to get. if its that bad just wear a lil concealer(makeup) and make sure it matches your skin tone. just give it a couple days man
this may sound silly but try to put a dab of toothpaste on there, it'll help the swelling go down
Hold some ice on it, will reduce the redness!
pop it again and use some tooth paste it should work over night
