I dont know why people think theres all these crazy things that cure zits. It might help dry it out a little, but the best thing is to just wash your face a little more with some face wash and use some prescription acne cream. Go see a dermatologist, they can inject the zit (if you really need it gone soon) and it will be gone in 24 hours, or they will give you some cream and some pills that could take care of it as well if you dont want it injected.
