Putting ground cinnamon and lemon on zits??

I don't know if any of you have tried this before, but I read somewhere that it makes your acne go away. When I put the mixture on my face it stung very badly so I washed it off immediately. My face was very red for about 5 minutes, it eventually went away. Is it normal for your face to react this way to the cinnamon and lemon?Putting ground cinnamon and lemon on zits??
Actually it all depends on how sensitive your skin is.U should go to the skin doctor to check your skin.If you know that your skin is sensitive, try not to use any product for your face.Putting ground cinnamon and lemon on zits??
your skin is probably sensitive to the properties in one or maybe both of the two.theskin on your face is WAY more sensitive than any of the other skin on your body.

There are some other things that arent as ';acid-y'; as lemon. A little tea tree mixed with an equal amount of warm water can be used to wash acne prone areas. It may sting but it depends on how sensitive your skin is.

From now on though, always test a little of any product that you are about to use on your face. Just test it in a little area on your face to see if it begins to sting or not...if it does, just quickly wash it off and dont use the product! and a little goes a long way on the face!

you can also try a medicine from the drugstore for acne and if it becomes a real problem you can always visit a dermatologist so they can prescribe you something more powerful
your probably alergic, dont try that again. I've heard of sugar and lemon, for pores. I'm not sure if it works. But they said it had to be a little moist and let it dry on your nose and rinse off
I've never tried it, but it feels like acid in lemon might do more harm than good to skin, and cinnamons quite strong too.
Yes. Try vinegar it probably hurt more.
