Does toothpaste work with zits?

if u apply it does it do anything? remove redness or something???Does toothpaste work with zits?
Yes i use it on mine but i dont get very many so the few that i do get it seems to help clear them up if i use it when i 1st start getting one and i apply it dry with no water..hope this helps :)Does toothpaste work with zits?
nope.
Toothpaste can dry up zits, but benzol peroxide works better. You can get benzol peroxide at a discount store, grocery store or drug store with other acne and skin products. You can buy the store brand more cheaply than name brands to save money and get the same medicine. Don't get it on your colored clothes or it will bleach them. Put it on at night wearing a white t-shirt or wear it with a white shirt. Or, put it on after getting dressed and then wash your face before taking off you clothes. It will dry up zits.

One important thing to do is to use a clean washcloth to wash your face morning and night. When my son does this and used his medicine, he has almost no zits. When he doesn't feel like it, he gets zits.

Also, don't eat much sugar as that promotes zits.

Two things that promotes zits alot is lack of sleep and having too much stress. So, go to bed early and learn how to manage your life so things don't get too stressful. Exercise helps too, but take a shower afterward so you don't have hot sweaty clothes helping zits grow.
I've tried it, it doesn't do that much. It may dry them a little. But you can try it, it may do wonders for you. Just don't put on too much.
