Did you know that toothpaste can cure zits?!?

I found out that when you put toothpaste on your zits they go away and stop others from forming.Did you know that toothpaste can cure zits?!?
who knows....for all we know sex can cure zitsDid you know that toothpaste can cure zits?!?
that is interesting. but is toothpaste safe to use for zits? i would check what the ingredients are and if they can cause any bad side effects. Report Abuse

no
Using toothpaste in a gel form for regular brushing can actually cause some people to break out . My dermatologist recommended sticking to white paste for brushing and it helped clear up my jaw line tremendously. If I ever use gel for a week or more, it starts all up again.
sometimes but you need something with benzoyl peroxide is the key to antibacterial agent to fight acne, in stonger 6% formula for fast action.
no i think tis a mith
it doesn't, as a matter of fact its bad for skin
Yes. A skin specialist I know said that. It has to be regular white toothpaste, tho, not gel or anything colored. He also said to stay away from dark soda pop, I don't know why.
It helps in a pinch, but you should not be using it for long term. It has to be the white paste (gel apparently does not work), but only short term quick fixes because it is so drying.
In my experience I have used this ';method'; with great results. Although bear in mind that it has to be plain ol' white toothPASTE. Not gel, etc. Some people say that it doesn't work or it can't work. I suppose like anything you'd have to try it and see if it works for you personally. There's also another product from Origins which works quite well called ';Spot Remover';. Pretty much anything containing salcylic acid will dry the little sucker out.
it does not cure acne all it does is dry out the zit and make it look even more bad that's a myth don't be fooled.
yes
its likely the level of menthol in the toothpaste...
yea it dies it out
didn't know that.
really, thats wierd.
sure it does.... NOT... don't be fooled...
I also heard that but never tried it.
Lol! I wouldn't be a teenager again for all the tea in China.
yeah sometimes but not all people for me it just makes it worse i have sensitive skin :/
I saw that someplace here and i tried it last week. It works!! But am not sure its a good idea to use it always though.
never heard of this, but thx. i will check into it.
I actually tried this as a teenager and it worked for me. It wasn't an instant thing but it certainly dried up that sucker and it went away quicker that usual!
yes and it also cleans jewelry really nice
wow i didnt know
?????????????????????????
my brother swears that fresh lemon juice works....
no, it just dries the zit up and causes future zits
Yes, it helps dry them up quickly.
not on sensitive skin...

don't use whitening toothpaste.. because whitening toothpaste has stronger bleach than the other kinds..
I do this and yes it does work. Remember though, before resorting to toothpaste follow a acne regime for your face, if you run out of acne creme you can use toothpaste but I wouldn't recommend it as your daily acne regime.
That is true...the toothpaste dries out your skin and gets rid of the zit, however, unless you are putting toothpaste all over your face, it will not prevent zits from forming. Cleaning your face everyday or even twice a day pending on how oily your skin is, will keep the zits away. I also recommend a really good face cleaner. Proactive really does work, also dermalogica if you are looking for something that really works.
