What is the little thing that comes out of a zit?

When you pop a zit all the way you get not only goo (sorry gross I know) but you sometimes get a little waxy thing shaped like a seed. What precisely is that. I know I know dirt and oil can collect in your pores, but is that what this is made of?

Im just wondering if it has anything to do with all the junk people eat, or parasites people have and do not know about. All theories and explinations welcome. What is the little thing that comes out of a zit?
When I was studying beauty therapy last year we loved this question and now that I am working and doing extractions - gross I know but it is so great to get these little suckers out under sterile conditions.

It is a collection of dead skin cells, sebum and bacteria that is caught in the pore.

Sometimes they are quite hard and that is usually because they have been there a little bit longer than the ones you squeeze and are softer. (Although you shouldn't squeeze them)

The correct term for them is comedone.

No parsites have nothing to do with them, all to do with your genetic make-up, how you cleanse your skin and a good diet. If you eat junk food 24/7 then it will show on your face. What is the little thing that comes out of a zit?
It's called a comedo, and it's made up of sloughed skin cells and skin oil.
Thats puss, its pretty bad to squeeze it out because you might scar your skin leaving behind a ';hole'; on your face
um a little more details please? its probably acne puss or something.
it's called puss it comes from the pipmle or zit when you squeeze it.
Sebum the ';gack'; your skin produces, that causes the little seed like thing your body produces when you pop a zit.Sometimes it can be waxy rather than pus like material.Your pores becomes clogged and these little pus balls form, and then we squeeze them..It's all a daily collection of dirt ,oil %26amp;dead skin cells...........
I love getting those out. So disgustingly gratifying. I almost want to hold it up to the light and say, ';I gotcha now, you little ba***rd!'; :-)

Pimples are caused by bacterial infections in your pores. That little pimple pebble is the pus (a result of white blood cells attacking the infection) that has dried up under your dermis. Sweet...
its not anything about the food you eat, and i doubt a parasite would put stuff in your zits, its probable just more puss that has hardened. its probably the orginal thing in your pore that made it swell and puss into a zit
